I seriously cannot believe it’s already March y’all and spring is right around the corner. So, let’s talk “all things education” for the apartment association…
March is the associations month where education programs are in high gear…we kicked off CAMT in early February and it will end the first week of March. We are excited to announce we will be delivering 20 AMAZING CAMT Candidates as of March 6th. The program was incredible and with NAAEI’s Senior Trainer, Paul Rhodes at the helm – it was eventful!
To continue on with the service series AATC will Kick Off its Pool School AKA Basic Pool Operator Program on Wednesday, March 11. This year we are delivering 5 pool schools: 3 in English and 2 in Spanish. The dates are March 11, April 2, April 8, May 4, and June 2. If you manage a property that falls under the jurisdiction of Fort Worth Code Compliance that mean anyone who cleans and services the pool must have this certification. If your property is in North Richland Hills then you will need a CPO. You can view all of our pool courses on AATCnet.org under the LEARN tab. Reserve your seat today – space is limited.
We had an exceptional turnout for the February Red Book Seminar. It was a full house and Attorney Jennifer Owen shared a tremendous amount of information. Our final seminar is scheduled for March 17th. This date is sold out but there are other options available. Check out our website for details or contact GregoryAnn and she can help you!
Our next Lunch and Law Legal Seminar takes place on March 25th and new to our association is Zach Mosely of McCleny, Moseley & Association, PLLC. His firm has created a session on insurance claims called “WHAT THE HAIL?” which will help us all in navigating insurance claims when they occur. Zach will cover current insurance laws, rules on paying deductibles, contract tips, and industry centered FAQs. We’ve got to get ready for our CRAZY Texas weather and more importantly understanding how to navigate the insurance component with a little bit of confidence.
We have another great Maintenance class lined up for March 26 to continue our Maintenance series: The Perfect Make Ready. Jimmy McClung, LumaCorp, will be on hand to go over the details of best practices to ensure proper and efficient unit make readies; including, proper planning of turns, how to schedule with the goal in mind, understanding the financial component of the make readies, and staying in sync with your office and leasing team. Don’t miss out!
Now for the culmination of our March Education Courses – this is a new seminar from two industry leaders Cayce Coon, Director of Property Management with Madera Residential AND Becca Brown, Regional Sales Manager with BG Multifamily. These two powerful women have put together a never before delivered all-day interactive, hands-on workshop that is going to take your team to an even higher level of awareness when it comes to Creating, Providing, and Delivering an exceptional Customer Experience. LEVEL UP is the next step to take your team’s superstars to the next level.
Cayce and Becca are two of the most dynamic individuals and certainly Walk The TALK…which you can see by their trajectory into the elite positions they now hold. I’m also told there will be 4 guest speakers who are going to share their ‘secret sauce” of success. I for one, can’t wait to attend this seminar. It’s all day on March 31st—so plan to come or send your SuperStars (office and service teams)—don’t wait to register!
Well – As you can read – March is full of incredible learning opportunities and I hope you all take advantage of these programs!
Forward Thinking, Education With Purpose—See you all in April!
